Cornwall College Old Boys' Association:

"DISCE AUT DISCEDE" - "Learn or Leave"

Cornwall College Crest Cornwall College, a high school for boys, is located in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Cornwall College was the first high school to be established by the Government of Jamaica. Following much acrimonious debate a grant of £500 was made available to the local Council and the school opened in 1896 after much hard work.

There were only seven students in the first year - today, there are almost 1,300 boys in attendance. Thousands have graduated during the past one hundred years and have had successful careers in numerous fields, due to the excellent teaching offered by the school. Cornwall College was the first school in Jamaica to have a chemistry laboratory and for many years the majority of doctors and pharmacists in Jamaica were graduates of the school.
